Patrick Brady, Founder and CEO
With more than 25 years of healthcare public relations and integrated public affairs experience, Pat works with Fortune 100 companies, patient advocacy groups, trade associations and foundations to implement results-driven national awareness campaigns designed to achieve clients’ business and organizational objectives.
Experience & Expertise
Pat’s expertise includes utilizing earned and social media, advertising, survey research, economic analyses, thought leadership, and unique multimedia content to increase awareness of clients or their issues among targeted audiences, including healthcare stakeholders, media, and elected officials.
Pat began his Washington, DC, career working at one of the nation’s leading public affairs and government relations firms. His introduction to healthcare began when he left to serve as Executive Director of a coalition of 63 national and local healthcare providers, advocates, insurers, workers and medical professionals. In this capacity, he was responsible for developing and implementing the coalition’s issues advocacy and communications efforts including a grassroots issue awareness campaign that targeted Iowa and New Hampshire during the 2000 Presidential election. Following the election, the coalition transitioned to a more traditional, DC-focused public affairs and government relations effort targeting Congress and the Administration.

Since then, Pat worked at several leading public affairs and healthcare PR agencies where he led teams supporting senior care organizations, pharmaceutical, health tech and medical device companies, healthcare trade associations, patient advocacy organizations, foundations, medical societies, and several hospital systems. Recently, Pat led a coordinated campaign on behalf of the world’s largest medical transportation company to protect patient access to air medical services and prevent patients from receiving surprise medical bills—one of the most hotly contested health policy issues in the last decade. ​
Prior to starting BrickHouse Communications, Pat was an executive vice president with BCW, a global communications agency where he led several teams working with global pharmaceutical companies, a growing AI-enabled medical technology company and a national vision provider.
Pat has developed and implemented healthcare public affairs campaigns in 41 states and Washington, DC. In addition to healthcare, he has led major efforts on gaming, education and environmental safety, and he worked on the 1996 and 2016 Republican National Conventions.
Pat has a master’s degree and an undergraduate degree in a closet somewhere.
